About the event
After years of fostering a growing love and passion for horticulture, ecosystem restoration and study of related topics, Sharona Goren took the step into a professional career enrolling in the Niagara College School of Environment and Horticulture. Naturally, she could not get enough of her studies and her hunger for learning grew even more. She graduated with the college seal of honours in Landscape Technology and is happy to implement her skills and experience in her work.
Sharona established Sharona Landscape Design and provided garden design, garden installation and consultation with her unique approach to garden coaching and personalized design.
Sharona also has a passion for permaculture and edible landscapes and has a keen interest in therapeutic gardening and the impact that gardening has on people and the environment. She manages experimental gardens on her own property where she practices growing a thriving urban food forest and pollinator gardens with a large diversity of plant materials.
