McFarland House - History Embraced

Step back in time at the McFarland House, one of the few surviving pre-1812 brick buildings in the Niagara region. Built in 1800, this Georgian-style home now features heritage gardens maintained by the Garden Club of Niagara.  

 

The Heritage Gardens flank the home's entrance and showcase crops, flowers, and herbs typical of the early 1800s.Meet knowledgeable members of McFarland House on tour day to learn about historical gardening practices and plant uses.  Enjoy a glimpse into 19th-century life while strolling through these historically inspired gardens.
