2023 Annual Garden Tour Canceled

Niagara-on-the-Lake, April 24, 2023

The Niagara-on-the-Lake Horticultural Society regrets to announce the canceling of our 2023 Annual Garden Tour, originally scheduled for July 8, 2023. The decision to cancel this year’s event was made after careful consideration and consultation with our Garden Tour Committee, our Board and members. Our new Garden Tour Committee and the Board have already begun planning and are committed to showcasing NOTL gardens to allow the tour to resume in July 2024.

Our Garden Tour has been an annual summer event that, for over 30 years, has showcased the beauty of local Niagara-on-the-Lake gardens and the talents and creativity of our local gardeners. We are stepping back this year to redirect our efforts towards several other community projects. We understand that this news will be disappointing to visitors from the Niagara region, the province and beyond who look forward to our tour each year.

While the annual Garden Tour is an important event to our community, attracting upwards of 1,000 participants, we encourage everyone to continue to support other local garden events and enjoy the beauty of nature that is found in and around Niagara-on-the-Lake.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all our sponsors, volunteers and supporters who have helped make the NOTL Horticultural Society Garden Tour such a success for over 30 years.
