RESIDENTIAL GARDENS:

16006 Niagara River Parkway - Kurtz Family
Park at Kurtz Orchards - 16006 Niagara Parkway and enjoy a free tram ride to the Kurtz Family Estate – Gracewood Circa 1819. A restored Georgian home (pre 1812) situated on a 26-acre estate. The formal English gardens and majestic century-old pines are surrounded by rolling orchards and vineyards. Stop by for a special “Garden Theme Lunch” and picnic by the pond – 10% off when you show your ticket.

61 Shakespeare Ave. - Troy & Michelle Miller
Deddosutikku - a peaceful and unique refuge amidst plantings of bamboo, dozen varieties of Japanese Maples, weeping forms of mulberry, cedrus, caragana and more. Inside this garden is a spirit of calm that inhabits this Japanese-inspired garden. Beyond the plantings you will find an Eco-shed and whimsical creations scattered throughout. This garden has been featured in many gardening magazines and if you had visited on a past garden tour, you will need to come by again as it has totally changed from years past.

40 Shakespeare Avenue - George Hale & Joanna Gorski
The backyard shade garden was created around a pond with two waterfalls and designed for relaxing and entertaining, with hardscaping replacing all grass. The front garden showcases a 20-year-old red laceleaf Japanese maple and focuses on a variety of roses.

800 Green Street - Keith & Etta Mills
This private oasis has a good balance of hard and soft landscaping with lots of space for shade and sun loving plants. A small waterfall and pond filled with water lilies and iris provide a tranquil sound to sit and enjoy the goldfish. Raised vegetable beds linked by wooden walkways are found in the SW corner of their garden. Enjoy the many different outdoor rooms for the perfect refuge after a day of gardening.

15516 Niagara River Parkway - Dave & Debbie Eke
An elegant and beautiful one acre property faces the majestic Niagara River and is surrounded by nature on three sides. Home to perennial flower beds, boxwood hedges, three patios, a pavilion and a tranquil water feature. Peonies, hydrangeas and Russian sage grow in bountiful abundance, the specimen trees add the backbone to this peaceful surrounding.

59 Niagara Street - Bob and Gerrie Barnim
Evergreens, hardy perennials, deciduous shrubs and a meandering path with seating replace the lawn in the streetscape garden. Japanese maples plus perennials and ornamentation lend an Oriental air to the back gardens where freely scattered annual seed adds summer colour…a relaxed Canadian look.
